Lakerzer are fish-like florafauna superspecies created by Legendary Pictures that first appeared in the MonsterVerse tabletop game, Kong: Skull Island Cinematic Adventure.

Name

The name Lakerazer is a compound English word that literally translates as "Lake Destroyer". It associates the term lake which designates its exclusive natural habitat consisting of mangroves and stagnant freshwater on Skull Island, with the word razer (derived from the verb to raze).

Appearance

Lakerazer is a type of fish that has the snout of gharial, telescopic eyes of a chameleon and is covered in moss with thorns sticking out.

Personality

The Lakerazer behaves like a particularly stealthy Hypercarnivorous ambush hunter, using submerged flora to camouflage itself before anttacking its prey opportunistically. It is a territorial and aggressive species, perfectly adapted to the island's deadly ecosystem where it fiercely defends its aquatic hunting areas.
